We are thrilled to officially announce the winners of our Holiday Window Decorating Contest, sponsored by the Downtown Denville BID Design Committee. Our business district came alive with the festive spirit to turn our Downtown into the 5th Ave of Morris County.
This competition was hosted in two distinguished categories; the prestigious ‘Major Award’ evaluated by a panel of judges, and the ‘Denville’s Choice’ determined by the encouraging and active voting of our community at our Holiday Open House event.
Major Award Grand Prize Winner: Bluebird by Bullet Boots
We are excited to share that our judges have chosen Bluebird by Bullet Boots as the Grand Prize Winner of the Major Award. Their creative expression flawlessly blended a dash of Southern charm into the holiday spirit, all in their signature color – pink! The display wasn’t shy of delightful details, ranging from a pink nutcracker, a quirky Taylor Swift ‘Merry Swiftmas’ gift bag, right down to Santa in sparkly boots descending a chimney. Their brand identity shone through, making the display uniquely theirs.
Denville’s Choice Grand Prize Winner: Ivy Hair & Makeup
The Grand Prize for Denville’s Choice goes to Ivy Hair & Makeup. Their window display truly reflected the store’s bond with the Denville community and demonstrated exceptional decorating skills! The window scene transformed into a modern yet classic winter wonderland, much like the fresh take they’ve brought to the Downtown Denville hair salon scene. Their display was a testament to their fine sense of balance between classic and contemporary.
Major Award Runner-Up: The Urban Muse
Coming in a close second, The Urban Muse mesmerized the judges with their enchanting “Rhapsody in White”. Their frost-kissed masterpieces and the delicate ballet of shimmering snowflakes evoked the magic of the winter season while imbuing an atmosphere of timeless elegance. Their boutique is a winter haven offering season essentials, each one a reflection of their design philosophy – where simplicity speaks volumes.
People’s Choice Runner-Up: Inmiko
Securing runners-up in the People’s Choice category is Inmiko. Their imaginative use of vibrant colors caught the eye of many within the community, garnering them a significant number of votes. True to their art of gifting, Inmiko gifted Downtown Denville with a creative burst of brightness, lighting up our spirits this holiday season.
